During the Spring 2014 semester the Center for Teaching and Learning will offer fellowships to full-time faculty members to support the development of new hybrid or fully online courses to be run in the Fall 2014 semester. CTL Faculty Fellows will receive one course release, and will participate in a seminar led by the Center for Teaching and Learning. In this seminar, which will meet periodically throughout 2014, CTL fellows will work together to design courses for online and hybrid deployment and also to establish processes for assessing those courses and reporting on their findings to the College.
Priority for the fellowships will go to faculty members who have not previously taught in an online/hybrid format, and to courses which have not previously been offered in this way.
All applications are subject to approval by department chair, the appropriate dean’s office, and the provost’s office. Applications for the CTL Faculty Fellows program will be reviewed by the CTL Advisory Committee.
To apply, please fill out the form below. The deadline for applications is November 8. The CTL will hold an open forum at 12:30 on October 31 in NVC 14-280 to answer questions about the fellowships and the CTL in general. Stay tuned to this space as well for future fellowship opportunities.
