Announcing Maker Hub Faculty Assignment Design Challenge

The Maker Hub at Baruch College invites all faculty members to join in the Maker Hub Faculty Assignment Design Challenge to design and create assignments around the maker culture in order to integrate design thinking and technology into the classroom.

To participate, choose a course that you teach or are planning to teach at Baruch College. Invent an assignment that incorporates materials and/or technology from the Maker Hub that you think would positively contribute to your course. Assignments can range from a 10-minute in-class task that illustrates a concept to a semester-long multistep capstone project.

Submission guidelines, details on Maker Hub and assignment examples are below, or can be downloaded here.

All disciplines welcome! Playing to learn, experimentation
