The Baruch College Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is pleased to offer fellowships to adjunct faculty to support the development of new hybrid or fully online courses that will be run at Baruch in the 2014-2015 Academic Year. CTL Associate Faculty Fellows will participate in the CTL Associate Faculty Summer Seminar, which will run from June 9-June 27. In this seminar, CTL Associate Faculty Fellows will work together with the guidance of the Center for Teaching and Learning to design courses for online and hybrid deployment, and also to establish processes for assessing those courses and reporting on their findings to the College. The seminar will meet once in-person on June 9, and then the remainder of the work will be done online.
To be eligible for a CTL Associate Faculty Fellowship, applicants must produce documentation from the appropriate department chair that they will be given the opportunity to teach an online or hybrid course in the 2014-2015 Academic Year. All applications are subject to approval by the department chair, the appropriate dean’s office, and the provost’s office. Applications for the CTL Faculty Fellows program will be reviewed by the CTL Advisory Committee.
CTL Associate Faculty Fellows who complete the seminar will be paid for 20 hours at the non-teaching adjunct rate.
To apply, please fill out the form below. The deadline for applications is April 11, 2014.
